The decision was made to improve our overall underwriting as well as claims service to our clients.

In the future we will be doing all amendments, renewals and claims registrations as well as the appointment of assessors ourselves on an in house system provided by SIS.  This will save not only time but also ensure the correctness of amendments and the speedy finalization of claims and the fair negotiation of renewal terms.

Your cover, policy numbers and excesses will remain the same.  We will as always be your first and only point of entry to handle your Insurance matters on your behalf.

We have investigated the use of an Underwriting Manager thoroughly and spoke to several other Brokers who use SIS and they have only the highest regard for their service and abilities.  In fact it was the Management of Mutual & Federal, Pretoria Branch who suggested that I consider using them as they admitted that the system problems M&F  had the last two to three years in a changeover effort from one system to another caused us as Brokers tremendous frustrations.

We are checking each and every Policy Schedule that we receive from SIS  but in an effort to make this swap over to SIS as fruitful  as possible to all involved, it will be much appreciated if you check your policy schedules when you receive them and to ensure that all the details on your schedules as far as underwriting regarding your security at home, vehicle details, All risk items like cellular phones, Laptops, Tablets etc  and all other aspects of your cover is indeed correct and more importantly still suits your needs.  If you need to update any details please forward to  and we shall do the necessary.

As we go through the schedules we are also checking for cover that we notice you do not have and may need for instance car hire, accidental damage to buildings and contents etc, we shall suggest you adding it and will gladly quote you on it.  We do advise that you consider Accidental damage cover under Building and Household contents as it covers you for power failures;  this cover is not included automatically under Contents and Building.

We appreciate your ongoing loyalty and want to ensure you that we as in the past only keep your best interests in mind.

Friendly regards

Elna Rudman
